About This Painting
The critically endangered Hawaiian honeycreeper was the subject of this watercolor I painted when studying Chinese composition. The triangular composition gives the impression of stability which this bird needs… The background was sprayed on with many layers of watercolor wash which is what gives it that beautiful textured look. I did a prior version with more oranges and had so much fun I painted it again.
Giclees are part of a limited edition of 50 for 11" x 14" giclee and 25 for 18.5" x 23" giclee.

Shipping
Shipping cost is calculated in your cart for destinations in the United States. Please get in touch using the Contact Form if you have specific needs beyond standard shipping or are in a different part of the world and I will calculate an exact shipping cost for you.
Standard shipping is via USPS or Fedex, and typically takes three to seven days. Tracking and full insurance is included with all shipments. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
