About This Painting
The store was first opened in 1918 by Yoshisuke Saski and his family when the now Mamalahoa Highway was just a narrow horse and buggy trail. With the extension of Kuakini Highway diverting business and as the Sasaki children aged and were not able to operate the store, they sold it to Kurt and Thea Brown. The Browns restored the upcountry landmark in 2011 and opened it as not only a local convenience store but a culturally rich display of memorabilia from days gone by. It is now their private residence.
This giclee is sold as part of an open edition.

Shipping
Shipping cost is calculated in your cart for destinations in the United States. Please get in touch using the Contact Form if you have specific needs beyond standard shipping or are in a different part of the world and I will calculate an exact shipping cost for you.
Standard shipping is via USPS or Fedex, and typically takes three to seven days. Tracking and full insurance is included with all shipments. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
